Worth County has an opening for an Asphalt Specialist / Operator. Applicant requirements are a knowledge of asphalt paving procedures including preparing subsurface to the proper depth and firmness, breaking up pavement, inspecting asphalt for proper mix and grade, and producing a level, sealed pavement. Duties include but are not limited to the operations of asphalt equipment such as tack truck, asphalt paver, dump truck, pot hole patcher, and other various pieces of equipment. Applicant required to have a Class A or B CDL license and possess 3 or more year’s previous experience in maintaining and repairing asphalt. All applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent, possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s License. A motor vehicle report, physical and drug test required prior to employment.
