THE PROBATE COURT OF WORTH COUNTY

The Probate Court is a court of limited jurisdiction responsible for the probating or proving of all wills of Worth County residents. The Probate Court also handles vital records (birth & death records from 1919 to present), marriage licenses, firearms licenses, estates, guardianship’s of minors and incapacitated adults, involuntary treatment of persons suffering from mental illness and/or drugs or alcohol along with numerous miscellaneous duties.

General Information

We are located on the first floor of the Worth County Courthouse. Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may come in anytime to receive copies of vital records and to file documents for estates and guardianship’s.  Applications for a firearm or marriage license are issued ONLY between the hours of 8:30-4:00 PM.
