Worth County has an opening for a Motorgrader Operator I. Duties and responsibilities involve the operation of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to move earth or stone to smooth or stabilize. Position requires the ability to climb onto machine, and the ability to operate control levers in a repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Duties may include but are not limited to the operation of moderate and heavy equipment and other duties as assigned. Preference will be given to applicant possessing 3-5 years previous experience with the operation of heavy equipment which provides skill and ability to perform the duties of the position. Applicant must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s License. A physical and drug test is required before employment. A motor vehicle report (MVR) required for previous 3 years prior to employment.
