Worth County Board of Commissioners, Georgia is requesting sealed proposals to provide all labor, equipment, and supplies needed for the removing, transporting, and processing scrap tires collected during the Worth County scrap tire amnesty event. Scrap Tire Carrier / Processor must be an EPD permitted tire carrier and an EPD permitted or approved scrap tire processor. Scrap Tire Carrier / Processor must complete and submit all Georgia EPD documentation and original manifest as required and follow all Federal, State of Georgia, and Local rules and regulations.
Sealed Proposals must include a copy of Georgia EPD permits, references for five (5) customers in Georgia and the price per ton and other associated costs for all labor, equipment, and supplies needed for the removing, transporting, and processing scrap tires collected during the Worth County scrap tire amnesty event. Proposals must be delivered no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2019 to the office of the Worth County Clerk, Worth County Courthouse, 201 N. Main Street, Suite 30, Sylvester, GA 31791 and clearly marked “Sealed Proposal – Scrap Tire Carrier / Processor”. All proposals received will be opened at this time, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Worth County Commission Board Room of the Worth County Courthouse, 201 N. Main Street, Sylvester, GA. The opened proposals will be read into public record, evaluated, and awarded at a future County Commission meeting. All interested parties are invited to attend proposal opening. Worth County reserves the right to reject any or all bids when it is determined that the rejection of one or more of the proposals is in the best interest of the County.
