Sealed bids will be accepted at the Worth County Board of Commissioners Office until Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be in a sealed envelope plainly marked “Sealed Bid – Reroofing Worth County Courthouse” and addressed to the County Clerk, Angela Harrah at 201 N. Main St., Suite 30, Sylvester, GA. 31791. Bids will not be accepted after the called time.
The work to be bid consists of furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor required for the construction of reroofing the Worth County Courthouse in Sylvester GA including complete building construction and grounds work. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all Bidders will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Worth County Courthouse, in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room, 201 North Main Street, Sylvester, Georgia 31791. After general discussion, the bidders will be escorted to the roof area that is being replaced. All Prospective Prime Bidders must attend in order to submit a bid.

Bidders are cautioned that acquisition of Bidding Documents through any other source other than Studio 8 Design, LLC is not advisable. Acquisition of bidding documents from unauthorized sources places the bidder at risk of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information upon which to base the bid. Each bidder is required to examine the site of the proposed work, the proposal form, specifications, supplemental instructions, special provisions and contract forms before submitting a bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond (Bond only; cashier’s check or other forms are not acceptable) in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid for the complete work. The bid bond shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the contract and provide performance and payment bonds within ten (10) calendar days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.
Qualifications of the bidder will be reviewed before the award of the contract. The owner may consider award of the contract to a bidder other than the low bidder. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date bids are opened. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities.
