PUBLIC NOTICE
The Board of Commissioners of Worth County will conduct an Emergency Called Meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 12:00 noon in the Commissioners’ Board Room on the 3rd floor of the Courthouse, 201 N. Main Street in Sylvester, GA.
The purpose of the called meeting is to consider introducing, at the 2026 special session of the General Assembly of Georgia, a bill to provide a homestead exemption from Worth County ad valorem taxes for county purposes, and to conduct other County business.
This meeting is open to the public.
