Worth County uses the E-Verify internet based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA) that allows participating employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees: ID# 586000913 effective August 11, 2008.

Worth County is also a User Agency of the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program effective September 3, 2010 for the purpose of verifying citizenship and immigration status information of non-citizens and naturalized or derived U.S. citizen applicants for public funds.
