The Worth County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing/called meeting at the Building & Zoning Department at 204 E. Franklin Street Suite 16 Sylvester, Ga. 31791 at 6:00 pm on August 1, 2024.
- Recommendation on the request through application for a Rezoning Agricultural (AG) to Agricultural-Conditional Use (AG-CU). The property is 55 acres on parcel 0033001400D, 300 Shanklin Road Albany, Ga., Property Owner Edward B. Baldwin and John D. Baldwin.
- Recommendation on the request through application for a Rezoning Residential (R1) to Commercial (C1). The property is a combined 1.5 acres total parcels LK06003200C, LK06003200D, and LK06003200E, 5933 and 5943 Hwy 300 Warwick, Ga., Property Owner Katherine G. Garvey.
At the public hearing, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to be submitted to the Chairman and County Commissioners.
The Chairman and Commissioners will hold a public hearing, followed by a regular meeting on the third (3rd) floor of the Courthouse located at 201 N Main St. Sylvester, Ga. 31791 in the Commission Board Room at 7:00 pm on August 15, 2024. At that time, the Commissioners will hear public comments and consider the recommendation of the Planning Commission and make their decision on the zoning application.
